Started construction in March 2019, Cooper Building have their tool belts well stocked with long weights, left handed screw drivers and tartan paint supplies. In conjunction with McRaeway Homes, this is definitely one to keep an eye on over the coming months!
The house will be set in a “T” shape with the lower part of the “T” being the studio apartment, garage come man cave, laundry, office and formal entry. The studio apartment will have an en-suite with shower and toilet, and will have its own private entry via a porch on the eastern wall line. The formal entry will be via a large brushed metal door and open with the option of turning left into the main house or right towards the garage.
The main house living area will take your breath away with the oversize ceiling height and the expansive views of the farmland beyond. Aluminium windows will line the northern wall of the living, dining and kitchen that are open plan, light and airy. Past the living room is an outdoor entertainment area that is encapsulated on 3 sides meaning this area can be utilized during all seasons. Past this is a separate lounge which will be a retreat for adults and children alike. To the right of the kitchen is a long hall way that takes you to all four of the amazing bedrooms. Bedrooms 4 and 3 are found first off the hall and a separate toilet that services them is directly at the end of the hall. Bedroom 2 and the main family bathroom are off to the left but to the right is a stairway that leads to the master bedroom with en-suite. This second story oasis will be bathed in sunlight and have 360oC views of the northern Timaru countryside.
Clad in red brick and beech, this amazing family home will stand out among the rest not only for its imprint on the landscape but for its originality and functionality for the wonderful family that will occupy it.
